OLYMPIA, Wash. – At the June 19 special meeting in Olympia, the Washington State Board of Education (SBE) will consider the evaluation rubrics for review of charter authorizer applications and the Achievement and Accountability Workgroup’s (AAW) input on the revised Achievement Index.
Board members will discuss the revisions to the charter authorizer evaluation rubric which:
The SBE and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) convened the AAW, a workgroup of 22 different education stakeholder organizations, to provide input on Index revision. During the meeting, members will discuss the workgroup’s final feedback report on the revised Index.
The Board meeting will begin Wednesday, June 19 at 1:00 p.m.
